The National Reserve the Vicunas is in the I Region, Province of Parinacota, Commune of Putre, has a surface of 209,131 hectares.

Its great surface characterizes by extensive plains and steep reliefs where they emphasize the hills Arintoca and Puquintica. The zone of the reserve includes diverse vegetal communities like bofedales, pajonales, tolares and in broken bosquetes of queñoa and pulvinadas plants are appraised.

Routes of access  

In order to accede to the Nac Reserve. In the Reserve, only in the locality of Guallatire restaurant exists rustic. Outside this one, in Chucuyo there are restaurants and in Putre one counts on one hostería, residential and restaurants.
